An early experience in Industrial Design+Manufacturing has brought knowledge and expertise in computer modelling, digital information, and technical workflows to the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industry.

Adopting Building Information Modelling technology early on in a Structural Engineering office, Michael recognised the benefits it could bring to the AEC Industry, providing efficiency, clarity and a means to bring about real collaboration for design, construction and operations of a building.

Michael is co-founder of the Revit User Group for SA, frequent public speaker at BIM and Revit events, and has trained hundreds of professionals and students in Revit and other BIM technologies.

Michael is the founder of Virtual Built Technology – a BIM consultancy focused on connecting Designers, Builders and Owners.
